Never did, never does. The Task Manager CPU meter never goes above 3.08Ghz even though Cubase is red lining. Routinely max out the CPU using VST instruments and plugs.the CPU seems to quickly jump to the middle and then exhibits a more steady rise from there on the ASIO meter having to change buffers from 512 up to 2048, then, CPU Overload warning boxes eventually. Asus GL752VW-DH71 with an i76700HQ 2.6GHz Turbo Boost up to 3.5GHz in Windows 10 Home using Cubase 8.5Pro-64bit. ![]()
